I am happily married to my husband Rodney for almost 17 years.  We have three children, Tyler (13) and a set of twins Kelsey and Kyle (10).  I was an office manager up until I had our first child.  Now I'm at home with the kids and love it.  I keep very busy helping out at church, the kid's schools and all their activities.  We live in the north end of the LC district.  Tyler goes to LCN Middle School and the twins are at Atwood.

From Ann Marie:

When confronted by the fact that I’ve been out of high school for two decades the first words that come to mind are “holy” and “shit.”  The next words are “AARP,” “crone” and “Bon Jovi.” That said, the last two decades have been quite good to me.

After college – MSU/Journalism – I headed off to the Big Apple to intern at Ms. Magazine.  After Ms. I worked as a writer for sundry publications before turning free-lance and working sundry other jobs while pursing a career as an actor/stand-up comic.  Weird career trajectory, I know, but I’ve made it a point in life to go after what makes me happiest.  Doing shitty off-off-off (think on Long Island) Broadway theatre and making people laugh truly made me happy in my 20s. NYC was my home base for nearly a decade but along the way life, love and work have taken me to some amazing parts of the world.  I’ve lived on three different continents and traveled extensively which was all part of my master plan.  My friends from HS know I had a serious case of wanderlust.

About six years ago I made the move to the Left Coast.  I love living in SoCal as you never need to wear socks (read: it’s 70 and sunny 90% of the time).  I’m currently one of those people who require a handful of hyphens to describe what they do: writer-actor-producer.  You may have seen some of my behind-the-camera handiwork on Last Comic Standing, Clean House or Wild World of Spike.  My coolest acting gig of late was appearing with Kanye West in an HBO sitcom pilot.  The pilot was directed by Larry Charles, who also directed Borat, and I played a crazy fan who tries to impress Kanye by rapping for him.  Needless to say I was a tad nervous but I did my thing and afterward Kanye gave me a hug and said he was impressed with my “skills.” True story.  I may switch careers again at some point to oldass-white-female-gangsta-rapper. The genre is seriously wide open.  Alas, that’s probably for a reason.  Also, I don’t really have time to focus on “my music” or become a gangsta at the moment as I co-own a production company (AcuteTV) and business is heating up.  We produce episodic content for the web and mobile phones. When we started the biz almost three years ago people gave me weird looks when I said I created “Internet TV.”  Now that computers and phones have morphed into mobile entertainment devices the digital entertainment revolution is in full swing.  Viva la revolution! It’s really cool to be part of the first wave of indie producers and to have creative control over your own projects.  I’m happy to report we just sold our second series (a reality show parody that launches in Nov.).

As far as my leisure time is concerned, my main focus is leisure.  I’m happy as a mollusk just sitting at the café near my house reading the Sunday paper, hanging with my dog, or people watching at Venice Beach.  I’ve been an avid runner/exerciser over the years and have done a handful of marathons and triathlons. I also love snowboarding and hiking.  Since it’s mandatory for all Californians to try surfing I gave it a go when first I moved here but it was a debacle. I went with another newbie and within 15 minutes I got clocked by a board and nearly drowned.  This is what I gleaned from the experience: surfing is deceptively difficult to learn and bruises can take on the general size and shape of Canada.  I’m going to try again in a few weeks but I’m taking a class this time so my surfing experience will be more fun and less horrifying.

So that’s my life in a few pithy paragraphs.  It seems I’m not going to be able to make it back to the hand-shape state for the reunion.  Damn it!  I was so looking forward to seeing everyone.  I especially wanted to see the legend that is Matt Valice as well as find out if Cathy Lozon married Rick Springfield.  So many questions!  Have a blast at the reunion. I wish each and every one of you continued health, happiness and success.

Warm regards,
Ann Marie ("Ann" to my high school homies)

P.S. Go Lancers!

Hi everyone,
Wow, it's been 20 years. We've now all been out of school longer than we were in it and we're in the 'thirty something' bracket (approaching 40 too!) I know alot of people will probably avoid coming, but I'd really like to catch up with some of my old freinds...

Oh yeah, YES, I did change my name. It used to be Moreton, but it's Lucassian now.

I've been in IT since 1994, when I joined EDS. In 1997, I left EDS for Compuware - where I bumped into Ray Villobos and Lisa's husband Ron. Earlier this year I left Compuware to work at Comerica Bank. Mostly my job consists of translating business needs to technology possibilities.

On the side, I started a photography business in 2003. It's been VERY fun and I've gotten some interesting experiences out of it. If you want to see some of my stuff, just do a search on my name (Lucassian)

Hi folks, WOW!!! How cool is it to see everyone doing so wonderful in life? Well it sure is difficult to be original, so here we go…I currently live in Sterling Heights. I am married with 4 children. Samantha 3, Mandi19 months and I also have 2 wonderful stepsons Jay 20 and Brandon 15.Our oldest, Jay is currently in the Army and is stationed in Texas. Yes it is funny. Can you see me giving guidance and trying to be a role model to a couple of boys? What a joke huh? go ahead and laugh out loud :)

I have been with my wife for 14 yrs and married only 4, I know, I know. What took so long? I wanted to make sure that Pam realized how lucky she is :)

Despite popular belief, I have managed to stay out of prison over the years :) I have worked in automotive for the past 17yrs and currently work for Siemens PLM as an application engineer contracted at GM. I have also been selling Real Estate for the past 6 yrs and anyone whom is affiliated with either business is probably saying wow… 2 bad career choices…tehehe

I live a pretty simple life these days. I still play hardball in a Detroit men’s league with threats from my wife weekly that my fat ass had better not get hurt or else! :)

One other thing I would like to say… thank you sooooo much to our classmates who have and currently serve in the armed forces. You guys are true heroes and my family and I thank you.

Ok, well I look forward to seeing everyone next month. Oh yea also…I just talked to Trombley and he wanted me to remind everyone that he welcomes all of your harassing e-mails to attend the reunion. HAHA

God Bless all,

Thank you to Heather for kicking things off!  I look forward to seeing you at the reunion in 2008!

After graduation, I attended Northwood in Midland, Michigan.  I have put my degree to use over the last 15.5 years with a concentration in Marketing and Media Communications...mostly in the automotive and entertainment industries.  My job has taken me to wonderful places in the world...mostly domestic, but, some international.

On a personal note, I will be getting married this year to Dan Ritter...the weekend after the reunion.  We have a great time together.  We enjoy sailing (did that on our first date), skiing, traveling, wines and most recently started bowling...too fun.  Oh....how can I forget...Wii.  We LOVE Guitar Hero III, bowling, DDR, etc.  We don't have kids...but, act like them.  A wonderful dog named Dory who is a yellow lab is our little bundle of joy! : )

I encourage anyone reading these messages to post your info. and plan on coming to the reunion.  The planning committee has some great things planned and it is sure to be a fun night.  More highlights are coming.  Sign up soon!

See you on August 8th!
