City: Macomb
State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Executive Assistant Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 From Rebecca: Well I guess it's time for a 20-year reunion when we start hearing our high school songs on the Classic Rock station - Yikes! After high school, I worked full time and went to Macomb part time so it took me a whole 5 years to get the 2-year degree! After working at a number of different jobs, I found one that stuck and have been working at a large automotive components company for 10 years now. I met Matthew in 1992, we got married in 1995 and had our daughter Alexis in 1996. We moved to St. Clair in 1996 and though we loved it there, the commute to our jobs and families "down south" became too much and we bought a house in Macomb Twp., in 1999 and have been happily living here ever since. |

City: Harrison Twp.
State/Prov.: MI Occupation: teacher/writer/biologist Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Cathy: I was shocked to see the announcement for the 20 year reunion, are you kidding? That krept up on me. I have been living in Harrison Twp. since I've been married (15 years now-he's a great guy, 3 kids, which I had at the ten year reunion-my oldest daughter is skipping a grade this year to start as a freshman at LCHS!!!) Anyway, I had a BS from Wayne at the ten-year in Chemistry and Math and I have since got a Master's in Field Biology. I worked as a Chemist, then a mom/tutor and I have just chucked it all as a Montessori Science teacher for 8 years. I want to write. I want to send out all the writing projects I have been doing and I had to turn down some research jobs to do it. We'll see. I want that PhD too. As far as adventure, well, I hiked the mountain rainforest of Puerto Rico, almost drowned three times in my life and I currently jump a thouroughbred horse named Merlot. I have a VW bug, you know, slugbug, that I enter into come car shows. I like living in Harrison Twp. I was deeply shocked and saddened by the deaths I saw in memmorium, it has made me feel mortal. Thank you to all the people, who keep this site and set-up the reunion. It was so great to read all the names and see all the pictures. I am trying to make the reunion but I am not sure. |

State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Psychologist/doctoral candidate/musician Website: www.ellenkeyt.com Marital Status: Committed Relationship From Ellen: I'm really glad to see everyone posting here. The first few years after graduation were pretty rough for me but I eventually managed to hit my stride. While I was in undergrad I started playing rugby (the greatest sport ever) which was a really amazing and life-changing experience - in the midst of a hard time I felt like I was coming alive again when I started learning to play. I played for 13 years, traveled, had many adventures, organized and played in a lot of tournaments, and made some great and lasting friendships. I kept playing rugby as I completed my MA in Clinical Psychology but eventually my body said "enough!" (I'm sure our class' football players can relate) I settled in the Detroit area and, for the past 11 years I've worked as a psychologist with youth and families in Wayne County. In 2002 I decided to go back to school to get my doctorate. Since then, I've been working part-time (still with Wayne County youth and families) as I've completed the requirements of UDM's Clinical Psychology doctoral program. I also met my current partner and we bought a house together a few years ago (as settled as I hope to be). As much as I wish I'd been "out" in high school I think, realistically, it would have been one more thing to feel really awkward about (and who needed more such stuff back then?). Anyway, I'm defending my dissertation proposal in a few weeks and I plan to finish the final paper in mid-2008 (whew!). Probably not soon enough to be "Dr. Keyt" at the reunion (which would feel too weird anyway) but I am looking forward to finally NOT being a student for the first time in many years! :) Oh, just before I went back to school I was also composing and performing my own music and I recorded/mixed a few CD's. I've been too busy to play out for a while but writing (music/poetry/pose) is something I really love so I hope to have more time to indulge that interest in the near future. Finally, I have taken up a new hobby: brewing BEER! (ah, if only I'd discovered that skill during my rugby years) If you like beer, it's incredibly easy to make really, really yummy beer at home: try it and see. :-) |

State/Prov.: MI Occupation: INSIDE SALES COORDINATOR / INCOME TAX PREPARER Marital Status: Single Again No. of Children: 2 From VICTORIA: Hi. I'm glad so many of you are doing great! It is fun to read about your adult lives. Some of you are doing exactly what I thought you would be doing. I just got out of a 14 year marriage....Hurray!!! It wasn't all that great of a marriage, he was certifiably crazy. However, I have 2 wonderful boys...they are my life and I'm very happy. I can't say that I've grown up yet, because I still do not know what I want to do. I work for an international Lumber Company and the people are great!! Believe it or not... I am the comic relief around here. I'm not the same Vicky from high school. Like most of us here in Michigan, times are tough but so am I. I would love to hear from some of my old friends if you have the time. |

State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Sales Representative Website: signaturespec.com Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Kay: 20 Years! Where do I start?... to sum it up in a nutshell, I married Dennis, my sweetheart during high school. We've been married 17 years and have 3 awesome children. We have been blessed with the opportunity to each begin our own companies which have been very successful. My business & career as a manufacturers representative has provided me with opportunties to travel to many great places, my favorite so far has been Italy! We live in Fraser and love it, but enjoy spending our spare time at our cottage on the lake in Northern Michigan. Our tradition over the years has been to spend our family vacation visiting Aruba every year - we love it there! It's been fun raising such adventurous kids - they are my pride and joy! Looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion! |

State/Prov.: Michigan Occupation: Engineering Manager Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From David: Hello everyone, Quick note to say hello and hope all are doing great. I read many of your postings and was happy to see many growing families! In the same breath however, I was sad to read of the few who have past on, and my prayer for peace goes out to all who have been suffering their loss. I have been blessed in my life journey since leaving High School. I have learned a lot, and continue to seek more opportunities to learn everyday. I graduated college with an Architecture degree and after a few years of being under-paid I was offered an opportunity to work on developing a vehicle and was given the chance to move to Japan for a couple years. It was exciting and a great eye opener. During my work in Japan, I met a Korean girl and got married in Tokyo. We now have 3 beautiful children who continue to shape our lives. I serve at my church ( a Korean Presbyterian Church) as a sunday school teacher for high school juniors and seniors. It has been a great blessing and has allowed me to join Mission trips with my class to Mexico to offer VBS for elemtary children. Another great chance for me to grow. I am not sure if I will make the reunion yet, but if I do, It will be nice to visit with you. Take care and God Bless, |
