Not to sound like everyone else but "wow - 20 years!" Can't believe it's been that long. Left MI in 1989 when I joined the Marines. Finished my 4 year contract in Southern California in 93 and have never left. Worked at various tech jobs until I wound up at a network security start-up shortly before the Internet bubble burst. Stayed there for nearly 6 years and wound up getting laid off. Am now doing network security at Cal State Fullerton. Having been married for 9 years and have two awesome daughters, Zoe (5) and Alison (2). Hope to make it back there next year and catch up with everyone.

Well guys, I see the list is growing for attendees, but airfare is just not going down. So, sadly, I doubt I will be there for the reunion. But I have enjoyed reading the updates and will give you a little information regarding me.

I attended California State, Hayward  after high school and received a BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Foreign Languages (actually a major but didn't declare it out of ignorance). I studied briefly at the Sorbonne in Paris the summer quarter of 1992. Then instead of becoming an Elementary teacher, I elected to go into Hotel Management.

Then in 1998, I attended Willamette University and earned my teaching credential and a Masters degree. So, now I teach 7th grade English. No, I'm not crazy. I absolutely love it!

I am married with a daughter (6) and a step-daughter (5). All-in-all, God has been very gracious to me.

I am really looking forward to the reunion. Unfortunately I will be attending alone due to my Wife having to stay home with our daughter. My life has been good since High School. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and a happy healthy little girl named Alyse. For all of those we have lost through the years my heart goes out to their families. They were all too young and are missed. For those of you who have been sick, you are in ours prayers. For the last ten years I have been working at the Macomb County juvenile justice center, dealing with young men and women who need our help and guidance. Hopefully none of our kids will ever end up there, well until the reunion be happy and enjoy life

I just saw the add for our 20th in the Clinton-Fraser Chronicle!  I had to check out this site!  It's been so long, and I was excited to see all these faces!  I kept yelling to my kids- look it's Dana, it's Scott, it's Beau......I can't believe all the memories that came back!  (And that's amazing for me....like Dana Lahey, I've been having seizures and with each bad episode, I loose a lot of memory both long and short......Dana- we got to talk!!)  But everyday is such a blessing!  I have three teenage boys- David 17, Vincent 15, and Anthony 14.  They are all into music- guitar, vocal, and piano; Along with football, aggressive skating, snowboarding, acting, track, etc, they keep me very busy!  My oldest will graduate this year, he hopes to be a bio-chemist/ artist/ photographer/ musician.  (Anyone notice that my occupation is still 'student'....I've been raising kids and hitting the books for interior decorating, political science, philosophy, religion, writing, and psychology.... With my waning memory, today I can't even remember how to make mac 'n cheese!   Although I've mastered nothing, I do hope to finish my degree in psychology.  I currently run a free group for people with social anxiety...the pay sucks, but I truly love the work!  (Anyone remember how shy I was?......yep, still working on it!)

Thanks to all those who put up this site, I was especially warmed to see Scott P. again!  It was surreal to me when he died.  We dated a few times, and then snubbed each other, I finally cracked and wrote him the sappiest 15-year old love letter!  Scott, stubborn as he was, didn't call me until a month after the letter.  I was already dating Dave DiPiazza, my future husband...damn, we get on with things fast at that age!  When Scott called, his voice brought tears to my eyes- he sounded so sweet (and now that I think of it- young and unsure).  I'll never forget you, Scott!!

As for Dave DiPiazza, we got married in 1989 and just separated this past October......so I'm almost single again!  It's another new chapter, I'm looking forward to all life brings my way.

To all you Lancers, Wow...everyone looks great... the girls are just as beautiful, the guys just as cute!!  Did all this time really go by??

LIfe is great. I've been a world traveler between the Army (desert storm vet),and being an audio tech. Ive toured with bands such as Grand Funk, P-Funk,Uncle Ted,Snoop Dog,Ice Cube,and countless others. Currently, Just got off the  the road with Dane Cook. Possibly Mettallica early next year. I met my wife when I took a considerable amount of time off of touring. (It does get old. It is a lot of hours) We have a 14 year old boy and living in Mt Clemens again. Can't wait to see everyone.
