City: Dearborn Heights
State/Prov.: Michigan Occupation: Realestate Investor Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Shannon: WOW.. Time sure does fly by when you still feel like your 18... Where do I began. I like to first start by saying God Bless to everyone and I hope everyone is doing well... As I'm sure you all know I got married right out of school to Jim and quickly got divorced a year later. The best thing that came out of that 6 year relationship was my daughter Ariel who is now turning 18 in January and is graduating in June. Can you believe that???? That will wake you up alittle bit about time. She is a Wonderful person, a Blonde Bombshell, a Knockout and can Sing like Cristina Aguilira so if anyone has some Connection let me know. HAHA... No Seriously... But my life didn't began until I met the love of my life Radwan.. I met Radwan on Valentines Day of 92 and I have a Notebook Relationship, WAIT... Better then the Notebook. If you were to ask my friends they would also tell that I do have the best husband in the world. He spoils me rotten. But dont get me wrong though, I spoil him too, because I'm old fashion when it comes to taking care of my man. I get that from my mother. The secret to a great relationship is to do everything for your husband and in return he will do everything for you. My husband is no allowed to lift a finger, his only job in the house is to relax. He's the King of the house. I like to do it all. I guess you can say I'm a all around girl. You have to try everything at least once!!! Right?? People say that they can't believe we've been together for 15 years because we act like we just met. I have 2 beautiful children by him, Radwan ll (14) he plays the guitar and loves his computer and Aliyah (7) and acts is if she is going on 20. She wants to follow in her cousins (Taylor Dooley Lava girl from the movie Shark boy and Lava Girl) foot steps by becoming an Actress and she is pretty good at it... Last Summer she did a Talk America Commerical. My husband and I have our own Realestate Investment Co. I love it because I make my own hours and I can spend alot of time with my children. I love watching football. Rock and Roll, 40s and 50s Music is what I like to listen to and Best of all I love to meet new people. People say I tend to live in my own little fantasy world but if you grew up with me then you would know I have done that all my life. I still keep in contact with a few people from school Amy Williams and Vicki Hill. I would love to hear from some long lost friends..like where is Lainie Farless? You've been on my mind. Kelly I miss you I haven't spoke to you in a few years I hope all is wonderful!!!! Whats up to James Adams!! Where have you been? And to Jennifer McCarren I just want to Thank you even though you may not know it, I myself spending 5th-8th grade at your house when we were kids have influenced me and how I raised my children. I give a shout out to your mom. She wonderful. I hope to see all of you at the reunion... Til then take care and have a bless life..... Shannon |

City: Macomb
State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Building Material Supplier Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Lisa : Twenty years - that means 40 is just around the corner for all of us. That age seemed ancient to us back then, now it really does not seem so bad. I have stayed more or less in the area and currently live in Macomb Township. After high school I went to work at the family business and in 2003 we were acquired by a national company. When my father retired in 2005 I was appointed manager and have continued in that position. I met and married my wonderful husband Geoff in 1996. We were blessed this May with a gorgeous set of twins we named Madison and Noah. Other than their wonderful sleep pattern, they could not be any more perfect. I am lookng forward to seeing everyone this summer at the reunion! |

City: Alpharetta
State/Prov.: GA Occupation: Financial Process Improvement Manager Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Heather: Hello Class of 88! 20 years...it just doesn't seem possible!
I graduated from MSU in '92 and worked in public and corporate accounting in the Detroit area until '97. My girlfriend & I took a trip to Atlanta that spring for "Music Midtown" - a 3 day music festival with over 100 bands. It was awesome...but little did I know that I would meet my husband, Bryan. We dated long distance for 7 months until I got a job offer with Georgia-Pacific and relocated to Atlanta…I love the south even though Atlanta is more of a melting pot than the true south. We married in 1999 and our daughter Virginia (5) was born in 2002. I went back to work part-time at G-P (Tues-Thurs) doing financial process improvement in the Consumer Products segment. I am so fortunate to have a schedule that gives me a work/life balance.
In August 2002, we were hit with a bit of a shock…I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer (age 32 and no family history). I took very aggressive action and was so blessed to have the support of friends and family. I am over 5 years out now and doing well. As a result of my experience, I have become active in The Young Survival Coalition (www.youngsurvival.org - an organization dedicated to the issues of young women and breast cancer) and have spent time educating young women about the disease, lobbying for research dollars on Capitol Hill and sitting on the board of the Atlanta affiliate. It has been extremely rewarding and I truly feel that there was a purpose for my journey. I had a second child in 2005, Beckett (2), and share my “baby after breast cancer” experience with other survivors.
I am an avid runner and love to watch college football in the fall (MSU and Auburn flags fly every Saturday). My dad moved to Birmingham, AL a few years ago, so I do not get back to Michigan very often.
I can't wait to hear what everyone has been up to and am really excited to see everyone at the reunion next summer! |

City: Harrison Twp
State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Self-Employed Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Missy: Hi everyone! Let's see ... some highlights from my life: graduated from CMU (roomed with Kelly Pijanowski), lived in N.Y. for six months w/ Ann Lindbloom & Tina Stebner while interning at an entertainment P.R. firm (met a lot of celebs & attended the 1994 Grammy's - that was cool!), came home and married Mike Shevela (a 1988 L.C. North graduate - he's the second youngest of 9 kids! Imagine our family parties!), had two children (Brooke 9, Thomas 6 - they are great), and currently reside in Harrison Twp. I still love this area. Job wise: after New York, I was a restaurant reviewer for two years for C&G Publishing - enjoyed it a lot, gained 10 LBS and didn't make much $$$. Therefore, started a new job at MSU extension for about nine years. Recently, my dad retired and we bought his business - Tube-Co. - selling steel cut & fabricated tubes for the automotive - Yes, perfect timing with Michigan economy! For the math majors, during the missing years, I was doing the Stay-At-Home-Mom thing. Overall, no complaints - life and health have been really good. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion - take care and God bless (did I mention I was a catechism teacher too? ;) |
